Our Eagle copper weathervane by Whitehall is made from highly polished copper and brass, which will age to a mellow verdigris if left unprotected. Polished copper weathervanes may also be sprayed with lacquer or varnish to prevent the copper from oxidizing and to maintain the beautiful high polished copper finish.
