Accepted Payment Methods
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, are the preferred methods of payment. We will also accept a check or money order. If you are prepaying by check, we reserve the right to ship your order after your check clears. A certified check or money order will insure immediate shipment of your order. We do not accept COD orders. Remember UPS cannot deliver to a PO Box number.
We also accept payments via Pay Pal. Pay Pal is an account-based system that lets anyone with an email address securely send online payments using a credit card, a debit card or a bank account.
If you would like to pay for an order using Pay Pal, simply place the items you want to purchase into your cart and choose the Pay Pal option for payment on the Shopping Cart page. Choose "Pay Pal" as your payment option and our system will walk you through the process.
A Note about Credit Card Security:
If you receive a communication from us that your order is on hold for credit card security verification, your credit card has been charged but processing of your order has been delayed because the shipping address that you provided does not match exactly with the address on record with your credit card company. Don't worry, nothing is wrong with your credit card! We simply require additional information, for your own protection, to ensure that your credit card is not being used fraudulently. Fill out your online order form and choose the payment method you prefer; personal check, certified cashiers check, or money order. Fill in the credit card number field with zeros. For checks, please allow 10 business days for check clearance before your order will be processed. There is a $35.00 fee for checks returned by the bank for insufficient funds or any other reason.

Shipping Time Frame: Most non-personalized orders are shipped within two weeks. Personalized orders require between 3-6 weeks. If for some reason your order cannot be shipped within the normal time frame for each item you will be notified by email as to the expected shipping date. Once an order is shipped Home Accent Source will send you an email with the Tracking Number.
Orders delivered to Alaska and Hawaii: Allow an additional 10 business days for delivery. Shipping rates automatically calculated online at checkout may not be an accurate shipping rate. Our shipping department will usually contact you by email in 1-3 business days (allow longer during November and December) if special shipping rates, in addition to the on-line rates, will be necessary to your location. When you are contacted, we will then wait for your approval before we process your order.
If you prefer to receive a shipping quotation prior to submitting your order on-line, simply email us at: email@example.com with the item number and description of the item, and quantity you're interested in purchasing along with your complete shipping address. You should expect to hear back from us in 1-3 business days (allow longer during holiday season). Please do not expect such items to arrive any sooner than stated.
Order tracking: Upon shipment, you will receive a delivery notification email with the Tracking Numbers.
Cancellations: Not available after your order has been processed. Return policies apply.
All deliveries to a Louisiana address will be charged 8.75% sales tax which will be calculated in your order total at check out.
An informed shopper is the happiest customer, so we go to great lengths to provide clear delivery, returns, exchange, security, and privacy policies. This page spells out exactly what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. By shopping with Home Accent Source, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
We want you to be more than satisfied with each purchase, and we will make every effort to resolve any issues. All personalized items are non-returnable, unless damaged in transit, and in most cases a new item will be made and shipped at no additional charge. Home Accent Source wants to make your return experience a positive one, and we understand that sometimes a product may not satisfy your needs. In that event, Home Accent Source is committed to 100% customer satisfaction, hassle free, 30 day return policy on non-personalized items. Please read this section carefully. Your returns will be processed quickly and smoothly if you follow the guidelines below.
* First: send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
* Second: You will be provided with a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA#) and return instructions. Please do not return items without first obtaining a RGA# from our customer service department. This number assures an organized and efficient way for each customer to receive a timely credit or exchange.
* All returns must also be accompanied with an invoice or note showing the invoice number, customer name, address, telephone number, and reason for return. All products are sold with the full manufacturer's warranty and a 30-day money-back guarantee (shipping fees are non-refundable, and a 15% to 25% re-stocking fee may apply, depending on the manufacturer. Please see below under non-defective returns). After we receive the merchandise in original condition, we will promptly issue a refund. The refund shall be made in the same form of payment the original purchase was made. For example, the refund will be made in the same manner as the purchase.
* Non-Defective Returns: All non-defective returns must arrive in original packaging in resalable condition, with all original components included, or the package will be returned to you and no refund will be given. There will be a 15% to 25% restocking fee on all non-defective opened/unopened items, fee to be determined by the manufacturer. You are responsible for the return Shipping & Handling fees. Home Accent Source recommends that you insure all returned packages.
* Defective Items: If an item is damaged in transit, please send an email to us immediately at: email@example.com and save all boxing/paperwork so we can file a claim with the carrier, (typically UPS, FedEx, or the Postal Service). We will provide you with all of the instructions to return the damaged item back to us, at our expense, and we will arrange for an exact item replacement.
* Non-Returnable Items: All personalized items are non-returnable. If your personalized item is damaged or misspelled we will gladly send you a replacement of the original item ordered. We may ask you to email a picture of the damaged/misspelled item for quality control or claims with the carrier. Please make sure you read the product information carefully before ordering.
For all returns: We recommend you send your return via a tracking service such as parcel post with delivery confirmation or UPS and insure it for your own protection as Home Accent Source can not be responsible for lost parcels. Be sure to maintain a copy of any tracking numbers in your records in case you need to contact us. Include a brief note explaining your reason for return (i.e. shipping error, defective, damaged, not satisfied, changed mind, already received as gift, etc.).
Order Changes and Corrections
To make changes or corrections to your order, email our Order Desk. In your email, include your order number, name, billing address, and items ordered. We'll acknowledge your email within 1 business day and let you know as soon as possible if we were successful in making the changes or corrections requested.
Credits for legitimate/accepted returns will be processed within 1-2 weeks of receipt of the returned item. You will be notified by E-mail regarding the status of your return.
To cancel your order, E-mail Us and include your order number, name, billing address, and items ordered. We'll acknowledge your email within 1 business day and let you know as soon as possible if we were successful in canceling an order that has not yet entered our shipping department or is on back-order. An order is not cancelled until you receive an email confirming successful cancellation.
Orders that are already in the shipping system usually cannot be canceled although we will make every attempt to do so at your request.
For orders that can not be canceled and you do not wish to keep, simply return your non-personalized order to us upon receipt for a refund of the merchandise cost. You are responsible for shipping and handling charges both ways, and a 15% to 25% restocking fee, depending on manufacturer, for canceled orders that have shipped.
Of course, custom-made merchandise and special orders can not be canceled once the order is processed. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.
At Home Accent Source, we hate to say no! Therefore, please do not ask us to make any exceptions to our return policy.
For returns or refused deliveries that are returned to any address other than our warehouse there will be a 15% minimum restock charge unless the merchandise was documented by the carrier as damaged at the time of delivery. Since we do not have a way of knowing if you have made a return to an address other than our own, please advise us when you make such a return and provide tracking numbers to assist us in locating your package so that your return can be processed.
For any refused delivery, shipping and handling charges are not refundable. In addition, refunds for all orders will be less our actual shipping cost if they exceed the amount that we charged you to ship your order.
Home Accent Source will not be responsible for delays in processing your order if the credit card billing and shipping information that you provide does not match the information on file with your credit card company. For your own security, most credit card companies maintain an "alternate address file" of authorized shipping addresses for their cardholders. To advise your credit card company of an authorized shipping address, please phone the number on the back of your credit card and they will update your "alternate address file" promptly.
In all fairness, any fees billed to us when a valid Visa/MasterCard charge is disputed or when you request a copy of a sales receipt from your Visa/MasterCard company instead of directly from us, will be charged to you when we receive them. The fees range from $5.00 to $20.00. (Merchants are billed when you ask your credit card company to provide you with a copy of the receipt.)

Once we receive your information we will send you a confirming email and then contact you again only if there will be a further delay.
Please note that when we contact you, we may reference your order as a different number than the one you received on your order confirmation. We have both an internal and an external number for every order. Both numbers refer to the same order. Therefore, please do not be concerned if the order number we refer to does not match.
Specific Delivery Requests:
Unfortunately we can not accept requests for a parcel carrier to leave a package without signature or at a specific location at your home (for example, your garage, backyard, front porch, hallway, with the neighbor, etc.). If you have a specific delivery request, we suggest placing a note on your door for the parcel carrier with your request and signature.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses and UPS Address Correction Fees: To help prevent delivery delays, please double check the shipping address prior to submitting your order. The most common mistakes made when providing us with a shipping address are incorrect zip code, missing company name, missing suite or apartment number, and wrong street number.
In all fairness, packages that are returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address will be charged shipping charges again when your package is reshipped. In addition, any fees billed to us by UPS for address correction or address change will be charged to you when we receive them. UPS bills $5.00 for correction of each ground package and $10.00 for correction of each air package regardless of how minor the address correction may be.
Other important issues:
Any shipments delivered late because of circumstances beyond our control, such as bad weather or disruptions to transportation networks, are not eligible for shipping refunds. Carriers such as UPS do not refund us under such conditions.
Items sold by Home Accent Source on behalf of our manufacturers are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of sale, provided said items are used according to Whitehall's recommended usages.
The manufacturers liability is limited to the repair of, refund of purchase price paid for, or replacement in kind of, and at the manufacturers sole option, for any items proved defective, provided the defective items brought to our attention within the warranty period.
